High Point Market - Century Furniture

By Design Interiors' designers and design assistants recently returned from High Point Furniture Market in North Carolina.

Six days of exploring the latest and greatest in furniture design brought them back bursting with inspiration and creativity.

Over the next several weeks we will try to share just a little bit of their amazing experience with you. Let's start with Century Furniture...

(Click the above link to read more on how Century got started)

The Century showroom in High Point is absolutely amazing, each room has so many "HAVE to see" items, it's kind of like a kid in a candy store really...

The story begins before you even enter the showroom.
By Design Interiors' Assistants, Ashton and Carly are seen here in the elevator, which is adorned with bark walls and unique sketches- just imagine the sensory overload that is about to begin!

Entrance to the Bob Timberlake showroom. Again you can see the bark covered walls and wonder what is in store behind them...

A-MA-ZING

The whole group got to meet Bob Timberlake himself! Bob Timberlake is a world-renown painter and furniture designer.  Bob was gracious enough to spend time talking with us about his pieces and Century showroom design. He was very personable and even shared a little about his life (and grandkids) with us!

Here he is showing photos of his beach house to Brenda and the rest of the group.
These walls mimic those that are in his beach house.

You could just feel the nostalgia

We love these!
These are great colors right now, and look at this simple but stunning trim idea.

Until next time, Century....

There is nothing like being there in person, but we hope this small glimpse of the Century showroom will inspire you as it did us. If you would like to see more from Century please feel free to contact By Design Interiors.
